My skin care ingredients are usually found in my kitchen or my refrigerator. My mother and my grandmother always helped me, encouraged me and taught me about the uses of various ingredients.

Citrus fruits are always good for face.

FOR? – Researchers have found that papaya helps heals wounds, It is antibacterial, anti fungal and antiviral.
HOW? – Papaya can be both eaten or applied on skin for results.
Being rich in Vitamin C, oranges are good anti-oxidants, orange can be added to various face packs, body packs, ubtans for a fresh looking, radiant skin.
FOR? – Juicy, refreshing fruit, watermelon might be a solution to most of your skin problems if you have oily, acne prone skin. Watermelon (as is in it’s name) is made of 92% of water. It prevents ageing and improves skin tone.
HOW? – Eating a watermelon is actually considered even better than applying it on the skin.
FOR? – Something which I would use in DIY masks/packs or just to cool down my eyes, cucumber also fights skin ageing and prevent fine lines and wrinkles.
Just like a watermelon, cucumber has high water content. It is rich in Vitamin K and Vitamin C and is believed to improve skin tone. It is a great after-sun product which helps cool down the skin and reduces tanning on a regular use.
